Bioengineering Solutions for Biology and Medicine will take place in the historical Palais Lenbach. Built in 1887, it is one of the few buildings in central Munich that was not destroyed during the Second World War. Its original architecture, including elegant marble floors and stucco ceilings, is still intact.

Abstract Submissions

To encourage active participation in the conference, preference will be given to potential attendees who submit abstracts.

There will be two dedicated poster sessions. Exceptional contributions will be selected for short talks or one-slide, one-minute flash talks preceding the poster sessions. Selections will be made by a committee that consists of the conference organizers and principal investigators from the Helmholtz Pioneer Campus.

Registration Policy

Space at the conference venue is limited; please register early. Registration will be a first-come, first-served basis. Your place can only be confirmed after receipt of payment of the registration fee.

Registration fees include admission, conference materials, and refreshments during the conference.

Please note that participants are expected to book and pay their own accommodation and travel expenses.

Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted to event lab. GmbH by post, fax or email. For cancellations made before May 25, 2020, the registration fee will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of €25. Cancellation is no longer possible after May 25, 2020.

Registration fees will not be refunded in the case of a participant failing to appear due to sickness, premature departure, etc.

A processing fee of €15 will be charged for changes made to the registration, e.g., participant name, billing address, or for rebooking. We expressly note that it is possible to rebook a registration, allowing a substitute participant to take part. event lab. GmbH must refund the value of expenditures saved, as well as the advantages accrued to it, from an event booking by another participant. The participant reserves the right, however, to prove that event lab. GmbH has not incurred any or considerably less damage.
